With Valentines Day WINEormous at Pechangaapproaching, that also means the return of Chocolate Decadence and the Pechanga Wine Festival. I was lucky enough to get a sneak preview recently, and this year looks like it’s going to be insanely good. South Coast and Carter Estate Wineries were on hand in Pechanga’s grand ballroom, and chefs from Pechanga’s six restaurants as well as catering and banquets, Blends Coffee and Wine Bar, the Pechanga Café, Buffet and Temptations food court all provided tasty samples of what to expect on the 10th and 11th of February.

WINEormous at PechangaEverything I tasted was amazing, but standouts included Cajun seared Australian lamb chops with herb pesto from Great Oak Steakhouse. Cooked to a medium rare perfection, these hit the spot. Kelsey’s offered a maple glazed pork belly slider on cornbread that was also awesome. The desserts from Executive Pastry Chef J. J. Granet were incredibly beautiful with lipstick ganache and mini cones decorated to look like a million bucks.

WINEormous at PechangaWhile you’re enjoying scrumptious bites and sipping wine and spirits, proceeds will benefit Habitat For Humanity Inland Valley to help provide housing needs and home repairs to seniors and others who need a hand.
