Harvest and Thanksgiving to me go hand in hand. The crops are in and the process begins anew. The Temecula Valley Winegrowers Association is getting pretty good at this. 31 wineries participated in the 20th Annual Harvest Celebration over the weekend of November 6 and 7. Each participating winery not only offering a taste or two of yet-to-be released wine, they also offered tasty morsels of food. This year’s celebration also marked the 1st Annual Scarecrow Festival. You still have a chance to stop by the wineries and vote for your favorite, although many of the entries have been taken down.
