Five years ago, on a visit to Paso Robles, my friend Denny turned to me and said “Tom, you’re in the wrong line of work. Wine is clearly your passion. Figure it out.” With that I hung up my real estate license and launched WINEormous. Little did I realize then that five years later I would have become a member of the International Food Wine and Travel Writers Association, be invited to speak at the International Wine Tourism Conference three times, travel the globe to places like Croatia, Italy (twice), Spain and Nova Scotia and get the opportunity to spend one on one time with world-class winemakers. A year after launching the site, having spent extensive time meeting the people of the Temecula Wine Country, I decided to offer winery tours which I continue to this day.
It’s been my goal since the beginning to share my journey with you. I’m always open to suggestions as to what you would like to see here. Thanks for joining me on this journey. I think we’re just getting warmed up.
