This is a bold wine, and it went incredibly well with the barbeque ribs that Todd brought. I made orzo with beef, mushrooms and cheese and that paired nicely, too.
Garnet colored, it's juicy and spicy on the palate and it sells for $14. Innurieta 2016 Mimao is also 100% Garnacha which spends seven months in French oak.
We also tried their Puppy Love, a blend of Grenache Noir and Alicante Bouschet, the 100% Alicante Bouschet, Cabernet Franc and Eglantine, a Cab Franc, Malbec, Cab Sauv and Merlot blend.
