Hi, I’m Tom Plant. My wife Laura and I had our first date at The Wine Company in Temecula, CA. We discovered early on we share a passion for wine. Neither one of us claims to be an expert in the wine field, but we know what we like and we’re happy to share our discoveries with you. In the past two years we have paid several visits to Paso Robles, have toured wineries in six other states and one other country and we visit the Temecula Valley Wine Country almost daily. It is, after all, in our own back yard. Our intent is to introduce you to wineries and winemakers we’ve found, good restaurants with good wine lists, lots of photos and some good stories. We also offer intimate wine tasting Temecula tours for up to six people. Thanks for coming along for the ride. We’re just getting started!

“You’re rapidly becoming a “fixture” within our wine community here in the Southland. It’s nice to have someone like you being around and reporting on all the happenings in wine country. It was definitely a missing piece of our puzzle. I hope you’re enjoying your new status as our own “Tom Plant of WINEormous”!” – Don Reha, Winemaker at r Merlot Winery

“Tom & Laura’s line of attack is to sleuth Wine Country’s for their readers, offering a crash course in wine and wineries, including the distaff side’s perspective in Laura’s Women On Wine column. Into the bargain, we take devilish delight in Tom’s refreshing, take-no-prisoners writing style. Not to put too fine a point on it, the gentleman calls a spade a spade. If a tasting room serves a lame vintage, he’s not shy about pointing it out.

Do yourself a favor and drop by WINEormous. You’ll be educated, enlightened, entertained, not to mention Tom throws in a generous portion of his beautiful photography documenting his & Laura’s Wine Country travels.”

Michael Cartwright, editor of CAKE Temecula Valley Wine Country Wedding Newsletter

“The couple has met the winemakers and owners of the Temecula area wineries and uses these connections to help plan an itinerary that is custom styled for their passengers. Often when visiting a winery on one’s own, you taste their wines and leave with little knowledge of the wines or the winery. This isn’t the case with Tom. Frequently, you will meet the winemaker or owner. In talking to owners and winemakers you’ll learn of their passion for wine and you’ll discover the story of their winery.”
